Anser Caerulescens caerulescens
Andra Perrin, september 2000
A piece about behaviour
"Höhere Tiere sind ausserordentlich komplexe Systeme, aber die
Sozietäten, in denen sie zusammenleben, sind noch komplexer.
Das soziale Leben des Menschen ist das komplexeste System, das
wir überhaupt kennen."
"Higher animals are extremely complex systems, but the societies in
which they live together are even more complex.
The social live of humans is the most complex system we know of."
Konrad Lorenz
The books of professor Konrad Lorenz, ethologue, form the inspiration for
Anser Caerulescens caerulescens. It is specially the studies about geese
behaviour which inspired Andra Perrin. She is concentrating on suggesting
an analogy between the goose behaviours and human behaviour.
More precisely, she researched the instinct motion, the locomotion, the aspect
of personality, aggressively, hierarchy, and feelings like jalousie, hatred
and mourning.
